We love what we do because we’re able to work with the natural beauty of a live tree to create artistic beauty that people can enjoy in their own homes. While we have some items in stock, we welcome the collaborative input of our customers as we create together what they hope to take to their own home or office. As craftsmen and artists, we love working with wood – the feel, look, and smell of it – and our hope is that each unique table we create will be a masterpiece its owner will love as much as we do!
Curly Maple is one of the most prized woods for table tops and other projects where the wood is the star. These slabs are kiln-dried and sanded/planed to around 150 grit. We have taken the pictures after wiping on some water to show off the grain pattern of the slab. The slabs were measured from the center of the board in both width and length. Keep in mind that these are one-of-a-kind pieces. Wood is a natural product, and pieces may have checks or other inconsistencies. These are not considered defects. Thickness +/-1/8”.
